Ecological Footprint Center for Sustainable Economy CSE works to speed the transition to a sustainable society through rigorous analysis of policy, programs, and projects, by developing creative solutions for government agencies, businesses, non-profits, and educators, and by providing expert support for legislative, administrative, and legal campaigns.

Center for the Advancement of the Steady State Economy CASSE strives to advance the steady state economy, with stabilized population and consumption, as a policy goal with widespread public support. It pursues this mission by (1) educating citizens, organizations, and policymakers on the conflict between economic growth and (a) environmental protection, (b) ecological and economic sustainability, and (c) national security and international stability; (2) promoting the steady state economy as a desirable alternative to economic growth; and (3) studying the means to establish a steady state economy.
